The courseware is targeted at those individuals tasked with obtaining requirements from users and translating them into designs. The courseware is a perfect precursor to other formal method training such as Kimball, Moss, Inmon, and Imhoff to name a few.

Information Stewardship and Governance –this courseware provides a comprehensive overview of enterprise information stewardship processes including the best practices and techniques that are contained within this category. This courseware is targeted at those individuals with “process oriented” teams that have responsibilities for control and oversight of information centered projects such as Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Master Data Management to name a few.

Balanced Insight Consensus® Product – courseware in this category is focused on Balanced Insight Consensus®. This courseware will assist in the successful deployment of the Balanced Insight Consensus® product throughout your enterprise. This courseware is focused on individuals that perform specific roles and interface with Balanced Insight Consensus®. The courseware’s objective is to transfer the proper knowledge to those individuals around best practices and process automation to complement the feature set of Balanced Insight Consensus®.

Balanced Insight Consensus® Contributor

The Contributor role will submit, edit, and remove Balanced Insight Consensus® items and associated content. This content includes requirements, designs, and business rules associated with enterprise information assets within your information portfolio. This training will focus on establishing the proper competency for those individuals within your organization tasked with this responsibility.

Balanced Insight Consensus® Approver

The Approver role is granted to a business steward or a technical steward representing some part or all of the enterprise. An approver is tasked with approving or rejecting (and assisting in the refinement) of requirements, designs and business rules associated with information assets contained within your information portfolio. This training will focus on establishing the proper competency for those individuals within your organization tasked with this responsibility.

Balanced Insight Consensus® Facilitator

The Facilitator role is focused on gaining consensus within the various steward councils. A facilitator is leveraged to expedite the approval and overall process around publishing the requirements, designs and business rules associated with information assets contained within your information portfolio. This includes any refinement work to overcome rejections within the approval process. This training will focus on establishing the proper competency for those individuals within your organization tasked with this responsibility.

Balanced Insight Consensus® Administrator

The Administrator role is focused on setting up and maintaining the Balanced Insight Consensus® Environment. An administrator is leveraged to enroll users, establish approval workflows, establish workspaces, execute specific job schedules (notification, approval, and publish), and modify key templates (notification, naming standards, glossary lookups). This training will focus on establishing the proper competency for those individuals within your organization tasked with this responsibility.

Balanced Insight Consensus® Consumer

The Consumer role provides the user with easy access to your information portfolio -- to search and navigate all key artifacts (requirements, designs and business rules) contained within your information portfolio. The Consumer can view the Balanced Insight Consensus® content in both business and technical formats, and users can choose to view the level of detail that they need. This training will focus on establishing the proper competency for those individuals within your organization tasked with this responsibility.

NOTE: This course is often customized to accommodate site specific implementations of the Balanced Insight Consensus® Consumer interface including portal integration and business intelligence tool integration.
